Catarina Barata (CB) is a PhD candidate in Anthropology at the Institute of Social Sciences in the University of Lisbon (ICS-UL), researching about perceptions, discourses and representations about obstetric violence, and a member of nascer.pt - Laboratory of Social Studies on Birth at Centre for Research and Studies of Sociology at Iscte (CIES-Iscte).
