IPOV Dissemination Activities

Esta sección reúne las principales actividades de difusión del proyecto, entendidas —en línea con Horizon MSCA— como los procesos que hacen que los resultados de IPOV sean visibles, comprensibles y útiles para audiencias académicas, profesionales e institucionales.

These actions ensure that the knowledge generated through international exchanges, research activities and collaborative work reaches those who can apply it, strengthens scientific dialogue, and supports evidence-informed practices in maternity care and related fields. 

Las actividades de difusión en el proyecto IPOV – Respectful Care incluyen todas las acciones orientadas a compartir sus resultados científicos, metodológicos y técnicos con quienes puedan reutilizarlos: profesionales sanitarios, equipos de formación, responsables de políticas públicas, personal investigador y organizaciones sociales. No se trata solo de dar visibilidad al proyecto, sino de poner a disposición datos, herramientas, guías y materiales para que puedan adaptarse y aplicarse en distintos contextos, con el fin de prevenir la violencia obstétrica y promover una atención respetuosa.

Esta sección será especialmente relevante durante la segunda fase del proyecto (2026–2027), cuando se intensificará la publicación de resultados y productos concretos. Aquí encontrarás noticias, eventos e hitos clave de IPOV, pero recuerda que la plataforma también ofrece textos, recursos, vídeos y herramientas que desarrollan y profundizan en cada uno de estos avances.

34th ICM Triennial Congress to promote respectful midwifery models

The EU-funded IPOV – Respectful Care project will present the workshop “Eradicating obstetric violence by promoting respectful midwifery models: A 90-minute role-play workshop emerging from the EU-funded IPOV project” at the 34th ICM Triennial Congress. The session will take place on Wednesday, 17 June, from 14:00 to 15:30, in room 1.07.

Patrizia Quattrocchi takes part in a university event in Bari on obstetric violence and interdisciplinary dialogue

Professor Patrizia Quattrocchi, of the University of Udine and Scientific Coordinator of the European project IPOV – International Platform on Obstetric Violence & Respectful Care, took part on 15 April 2026 in a university event held at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, in the Aula Aldo Moro of Palazzo Del Prete, focused on obstetric violence. The activity appeared in the university programme Lezioni di Pace and was led by Angela Patrizia Tavani.

IPOV fosters dialogue on mental health and obstetric violence at the First Latin American Congress on Perinatal Mental Health

As part of the First Latin American Congress on Perinatal Mental Health, held from 15–18 October 2025 in Viña del Mar, Chile, the symposium “Mental Health and Obstetric Violence: From First-Person Experiences to Integral Interventions” was coordinated by two members of the IPOV – Respectful Care project: Dr. Carolina Farías (University of the Republic, Uruguay) and Dr. María Fernanda González (National University of Entre Ríos, Argentina).
