May 27, 2026IPOV – Respectful Care supports an activity on respectful, safe and humanised perinatal care during Respectful Birth Month
The session will be held with the Municipal Maternal and Child Hospital of San Isidro and Hospital J. J. de Urquiza, and is aimed at perinatal care teams, healthcare professionals, residents and students in the health field.

As part of Respectful Birth Month, the project IPOV – Respectful Care / International Platform on Obstetric Violence is supporting the activity “Transforming perinatal care: towards respectful, safe and humanised clinical practices”.
The session aims to create a space for reflection, dialogue and exchange of experiences on how to strengthen respectful, safe and person-centred practices in perinatal care.
The activity is being developed together with the Municipal Maternal and Child Hospital of San Isidro and Hospital J. J. de Urquiza, with the joint work of Laura Borger, Javier de Cicco and Carina Leiva.
The meeting will take place on 27 May at 8:00 a.m. local time in Argentina (ART, UTC−3), in the Ateneos Room of Hospital J. J. de Urquiza. Online participation will also be available through Meet.
For international participants, this corresponds to 12:00 p.m. in the United Kingdom and Portugal, and 1:00 p.m. in mainland Spain and Central Europe.
This activity is especially addressed to perinatal care teams, obstetricians, neonatologists, midwives, nurses working in perinatal services, residents in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, residents in Community Obstetrics, and health students.
