TRAINING

The Training section of the IPOV platform aims to develop professional, ethical, and reflective competencies among students, healthcare professionals, educators, trainers, and managers, in order to:

  • Promote respectful, person-centred, human rights–based care.

  • Prevent, identify, and transform practices of obstetric violence and institutional violence in healthcare settings.

  • Strengthen the link between scientific evidence, professional education, public policies, and the lived experiences of women and social movements.

  • Contribute to the sustainability and long-term impact of the IPOV · RESPECTFUL CARE project through transferable, adaptable, and reusable training resources.

 
 

Women and Service Users

This space is intended for women and pregnant people who seek to understand, name, and validate their experiences of healthcare.  IPOV recognizes the value of testimony as a source of knowledge and collective transformation.

 

Healthcare professionals

Clinicians and allied health staff involved in maternity and reproductive care (e.g., midwives, obstetricians, nurses)

Students / Teaching staff

Learners in health and related fields preparing for clinical and professional practice.

Educators

Professionals who design, deliver, or supervise training in universities, clinical settings, or continuing education.

Decision-Makers

People who shape policies, standards, funding, and organisational practices in health systems and public institutions.
