With more than 25 years of experience assisting births, I have found my true passion in midwifery. My training in home births, together with my background in dance, has allowed me to integrate both disciplines into a holistic approach to childbirth. Throughout my professional practice in birth care, I came to recognize the importance of movement and physical and emotional preparation for childbirth. This led to the creation of my movement workshop for pregnant women, a space where women can connect with their bodies and prepare for birth in a respectful and conscious way.
My approach:
My goal is to accompany women throughout this transformative process, respecting their autonomy and their decisions. Obstetric violence is a reality that must be eradicated, and I believe that education and awareness are key to achieving this.
My commitment:
I am committed to the cause of respectful childbirth and the eradication of obstetric violence. I want to continue learning and acquiring new tools so I can contribute as a researcher and encourage my colleagues to join this change.
My motto:
I believe that childbirth is a natural and sacred process that must be respected. I want to be part of the movement that promotes awareness and respect for women and their bodies.
